I was excited to try this vitamin C serum. My facial skin soaked this serum right up. It dried well and was not sticky. I did wait for it to fully absorb before adding my next step in skin care. It spreads easily, so a little goes a long way.

NEOGEN Real Vitamin C Serum is pretty gentle compared to other vitamin C serum. It doesn’t have strong scent or stinging sensation. It leaves an oily looking layer after applying.

I love this vitamin C serum which has 22% ascorbic acid. All the vitamin C serums I have tried have a slight stinging factor, which makes it appears as though it's working. However, this serum does not sting at all when applied, even after a procedure, and provides even greater brightening of my skin. I highly recommend this serum.

Vitamin C is usually recommended at a max concentration of 20%, because amounts over that have a potential to be irritating without being any more beneficial. However, I decided to try this Dermalogy 22% Vitamin C & Kakadu C-Plex anyways, because it has some other ingredients I like (niacinamide, ferulic acid and Vitamin E).
I noticed when researching the ingredients that it contains Sodium Metabisulfite which could potentially cause sensitization in those with allergies/sensitivities to sulfite ingredients. Otherwise the ingredients look to be pretty good.
I started using this every other day and have been using it for a week now, and I haven't noticed any issues with irritation. But, I didn't see as much of a difference in my normal but "mature" skin as I expected. The serum absorbs very well and doesn't leave my face oily, but it also doesn't seem to give me as much of a glow as some other 5-15% Vitamin C products I've used. Since the glow is my goal, I would probably pass on this next time, but I am hoping it does a better job with fading spots over a couple months time.

I’ve been using this vitamin C oil for about a month now and I have definitely noticed some improvement in my skin. It’s more hydrated and more moisturized. I see a small improvement in my skin’s texture and elasticity. I like that the formula is not sticky or greasy and absorbs quickly into the skin. Really great price for this product.

This serum is has a high percentage of vitamin C and some other really great ingredients like niacinamide and zinc for skin texture, blemishes, wrinkles, and other skin issues. I think that it works for me. My skin looks really good and glow-y with better texture and more youthful appearance. The serum basically has no smell and the texture of it is good so it doesn't leave behind a film or too much oiliness. The bottle is nice and dark so I don't have to worry so much about the serum being damaged by light or other environmental factors.

While I liked the facial oil-like texture and lack of smell of this Neogen Vitamin C serum, I could not continue to use it daily because it caused me to break out. I have very sensitive skin and developed two nodule-like pimples. I think it may be because of the high level of vitamin C. I suggest alternate days instead of using it daily if you have sensitive skin.

I love a good vitamin C serum. I love that this comes in a dark bottle to help preserve the ascorbic acid in it. It's very gentle on my skin and sinks into my skin so well. Have really enjoyed getting to use this for the last few weeks!

Really impressed by this DERMALOGY by NEOGENLAB Real Vitamin C Serum!
I have fairly sensitive skin and have had no adverse reactions. Little to no scent detected. Absorbs nicely and gives my skin a nice hydrated and moisturized feel!
It has some great ingredients/benefits such as:
• Kakadu C-plex - Vitamin C & E: Which is supposed to energize and boost skin vitality while delivering moisture to the skin.
• Niacinamide: Which is supposed to help brighten dull skin
• Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate: Which is stabilized Vitamin C
• 3 Type Hyaluronic Acid: Which is supposed to supply and retain moisture
I’m a huge fan! I love how moisturizing and hydrating it is to my skin! My skin definitely looks brighter and “glowly”!
Great serum at a great price (19 at time of review). Definitely recommend and would order again!
