How It Works
The cream contains ceramides that restore the skin’s protective barrier, smooth fine wrinkles, and enhance softness. Shea butter offers powerful moisturizing, smoothing, and skin-protecting benefits, while hyaluronic acid provides intense hydration. Essential oils soothe and relax the skin. With a pH of 5.5, it maintains optimal moisture and preserves the skin's protective barrier.

so i used to swear by it cosmetics “confidence in a cream” skin cream but something happened recently…they changed their formula and my skin reacted horribly to the new formulation. my skin became dry and irritated and i really didn’t know what was going on until i researched and learned about the formulation change. apparently the new formulation is “boosted” with anti-aging things agents that my skin doesn’t agree with.
i looked around everywhere for answers…for someone who could point me to a skincare product that has ceramides and other vital skin care agents without anti-aging additives and i came across holika holika.
weirdly enough - holika holika’s packaging looks very similar to it cosmetics pre-formulation change and the cream feels very much like the confidence in a cream as well. the consistency is a bit different. it’s a little thinner. but from my understanding - holika holika has been around longer. and my skin seems to love this ceramide skin cream. I wish i’d heard of them sooner!
i really love what they offer and I want to try out other products from the line.

Love that there is practically no scent to this since I have a sensitive nose. It's a oil based lotion/moisturizer, so that means it's not going to absorb super quickly, and to maximize it you'll want to gently rub it in to your skin much longer you would with a normal cream. If you're OK with that, then this product is amazing. Really nourishes your skin and gives it a nice glow, and leaves it feeling soft even the next day.

I have no clue what all the ingredients are except for the ceramides. But this stuff WORKS well for dry skin. It smooths out old scars on my knees. It doesn't fade them but you can notice when I touch them. I used for a month. You won't see ALL the results right away. It got rid of KP that was on the back of my upper arms. It does keep my skin moisturized for approximately 2 days after cleansing. I had such dry body skin that I would shed after bathing. This creme eliminated that! I did use it on my face but it left a sheen that I didn’t like. But my face doesn't have dry skin. It does NOT leave your skin oily. I definitely recommend.

The HOLIKA HOLIKA Good Cera Super Ceramide Family Oil Cream is fantastic! It's a perfect ceramide moisturizer for anyone. This cream is great for dry skin, providing deep hydration and leaving the skin feeling nourished and supple. It's also gentle enough for sensitive skin. Highly recommended for both body and face!

So far I've just been using this on my body rather than the face. It is already so nourishing for the body and kind of just sits there for a long time so I can't imagine using it on my face. I'd think it would feel pretty heavy or greasy that way so I'll be only using it for my body where I get dryness.
I do like the fact there is little to no scent with this and how it contains ceramides in it which can aide in repairing damaged dry skin. Overall, it's been my favorite for whenever I really need moisture, plus its good for repair as well.

Very neutral cream (no real discernible scent or anything fancy) which is a good thing for everyday use. Super moisturizing; I don't need to use much and it goes a long way.

My wife is a big fan of the category I call creams, unguents and lotions. This Holika cream earned a check mark from her very quickly. She said that it went on smoothly without feeling too greasy. It left a nice but not overbearing scent and moisturizes well. We will be buying more when this runs out.

I loved this cream! Reminded me of the Dr jart ceramide cream which is quite pricey. This was cheaper and you get a huge bottle!
The scent was really nice - I detected some citrus. I loved the way it smelled and it was not super powerful.
This is a deeply hydrating cream that you can use on face and body, it was fantastic as an occlusive to lock in moisture. I tried several ceramide-based creams all around the same time and this one was the lightest one. I probably wouldn't consider this lightweight but I think it's wearable during the day although it doesn't sink in right away.
Holika holika is a great and trusted brand and I've liked several of their products in the past. This is probably one of my faves.
