I was looking for something nice to get my wife, and came across this. I'd never heard of the brand, but, after researching, I found that they are a higher end brand. We live in Utah, and so we're often dealing with dry skin. My wife is constantly putting on lotion, for instance.
Being a man, I have to admit, I didn't fully understand what this was. My wife seemed excited when she got it. It does come in a large glass bottle, so it Is heavy. We have tile in our bathroom, so I was a little concerned about it falling and dropping sometime. That has yet to have happened, thankfully.
My wife seems to like how it feels as she has used it. It is more thick, so she has had some trouble getting it out of the bottle, at times. She had an extra pump handy that she has ended up just sticking in to get the product out easier. It would have been nice if one had been included with the glass bottle. I can't say I've noticed much of a difference with her skin in comparison to other products she's used. This one seems to be a keeper, for her, however, and she's been using it ever since.

Loooove Sulwahasoo products! Makes my skin so soft and clear. I notice a diff whenever I use these products at night. Only downside is the price is high.

Sulwhasoo is a premium brand of Asian skincare. I’m familiar with their products and was very excited to try this one.
This product comes in a glass bottle, so be mindful about not dropping it (glass is very thick and I assume quite impact resistant, but let’s not test its limits). Fragrance is wonderful, slightly lemon scent with many fresh herbal notes. Smelling it mentally brought me back to Malaysia where I’ve lived for a couple of years (and let me tell you, they do know how to care after skin!).
I would never ever describe this product as “water”. It’s a much more dense consistency, more like a serum or an essence. I really wish it came with a pump! The small opening in the bottle makes it quite difficult to get the product out, given how dense it is. I literally had to shake the open bottle over a cotton pad to get at least a few drops! That is the reason I’m not giving this product 5 stars. With such a dense product, I like to first soak the cotton pad in water a squeeze it well, so that the pad is wet. This helps to not let too much of the product get absorbed by the cotton pad (so, less wasted product !), and also helps to distribute it evenly over the face.
This product absorbs fast and doesn’t leave any sticky residue (give it 10-15 seconds to absorb). Once absorbed, it leaves the skin super soft and silky. Absolutely impressive and fast effect!

This is another lovely. quality Korean skin care product. It has a nice scent and is very soothing. A little goes a long way but , lorfy!, who can afford this price for a toner?

So this is so soothing and refreshing, but it so inconvenient that it doesn’t have a pump or spray nozzle, you have to pour the water in your hands and the bottle is glass and a bit heavy.

I’ve tried a few products in this line and they’re all great. This one I apply with a little pad. Feels great. Not harsh like other toners. Would definitely order it again!

Luxurious essence, delightful scent, doesn’t irritate my skin. Comes in this beautiful heavy glass bottle.
After double cleansing i apply few drops to my face and let it absorb then I can follow up with a serum, eye cream and face cream.
Doesn’t feel oily or sticky.

I love the gingery scent of Sulwhasoo products. And, this balancing water comes in a beautiful glass bottle that is worthy of display. It feels light and refreshing. It absorbs quickly and leaves my normal but "mature" skin feeling hydrated.
I didn't like that no instructions are on the label. The brand website says this toner can be used after their serum, but I usually use toner after cleansing and before a serum, moisturizer and sunscreen. Since I am not using their full line, I used this as I normally would, and it seemed to work that way.
The other thing I didn't love about this is that it contains alcohol denat as the second ingredient. Although it didn't seem too drying for my skin type, this may work better or worse for others. It also contains added fragrance and perfuming ingredients. So, it may not be best for sensitive skin.

Sulwhasoo is from Korea and it is considered a high end brand there. This "balancing water" is actually a gel-like toner that you apply to your skin before adding moisturizer or serum. I love the scent and it feels great on my skin. It doesn't irritate my skin. I use it right after I use a facial cleanser and find it so soothing that I'm not sure a moisturizer is even needed afterwards. The glass bottle is gorgeous too. Very nice toner.
